Hi, I'm Duke

Just sketched this right out of the blue after reading this interesting article about three new dog breeds recently accepted into the American Kennel Club. Of the three that caught my eye, the one I've sketched here is my new favorite. It's known as a Leonberger with notoriety for its predominantly long white coat and lion mane.

I've had mixed opinions about big dogs, but this one seems to be a reasonable fit for me... That is, if I ever wanted to get a dog, heh. I'll definitely keep the Leos in mind. In the meantime, say hello to easy-going lovable Duke. He's fun to be around and protective of his friends and loved ones. May do more with this guy in the near future, so I'll try to keep you guys posted in regards to development of this character. For now, enjoy!
